The International Cycling Union (UCI) announced that they were supporting the United States Anti Doping Agency's decision to erase Lance Armstrong's entire career after 1998.
The USADA, earlier this month, released a 1000 page document including evidence from 11 teammates stating Armstrong was at the center of the sports biggest doping programme in history. This had resulted in a number of sponsors backing out of their associations with the athelete.
