Team Jumbo-Visma over the last couple of years have been building a team of strong riders and over the last 2 years have been favourites in the Grand Tours. At the Tour de France 2019, Team Jumbo-Visma had a strong showing with Steven Kruijswijk placing third in the GC and the team also won 4 Stages including the Team Time Trial. At the Vuelta 2019, The Bianchi powered team came in as favourites for the Vuelta a España 2019 and they stuck to that tag with Primož Roglič securing his first Red Jersey with and overall time of 83 hours 7 minutes and 14 seconds.

Racing at the Grand Tour isn’t always serious. Riders do have some fun while in the peleton. The 2019 Vuelta a España 2019 proved just that with with Burgos-BH’s Jesus Ezquerra made Stage 21 memorable with him riding up to his Team Car with his girlfriend in it and proposing to her. The 28 year old had informed the broadcasters about his intentions and made sure they captured the proposal.
