With the growth of the cycling community across the country, it is becoming more common to see cyclists out on the roads at all times of the day. Weekends are a favourite for long rides - with an increase in the number of cyclists pouring over maps to chart out a 100 kilometre route to ride. There always exists an overwhelming sense of accomplishment when completing a 100km ride on any given day.

We have mapped out a few routes that make a 100km loop in cities across India.

BANGALORE

Being a city with varied terrain, Bangalore offers numerous options when it comes to cycling routes. However, to beat the traffic an early start is recommended. With pleasant weather, cycling in this city is sure to be an experience worth every minute.

CHENNAI

Flat roads and sea breeze, a combination to make any cyclist cheer. It's no wonder that Chennai has an ever growing cycling community. Being a coastal city, the heat and humidity does start peaking not very long after sunrise. Hence, it is recommended to start riding as early as you can – especially in the warmer months.

DELHI
