Merida is a Taiwanese Bicycle brand with models for all kind of riders and surfaces. The Crossway is a Hybrid/Touring model with variants in specs, design and prices. We got the opportunity to check out the Merida Crossway 100 (2019) and here is what we thought.

A performance focused all-rounder Hybrid Bicycle for fitness, commutes and touring purposes.
Frame - The Merida Crossway 100 (2019) is built on a strong and lightweight TFS Alloy frame with smoothly welded and butted tubes.
Fork - The Crossway 100 (2019) comes with a Suntour NEX front suspension fork with 63mm travel and a useful suspension lockout.
Drivetrain - The Crossway 100 is equipped with Altus in front and Alivio at the rear with 3x9, 27-Speed Shimano Altus shifters.
Braking - The bicycle’s stopping power is taken care off by Shimano MT200 Hydraulic Disc brakes.
Tires - The Crossway 100 (2019) rolls on a pair of Merida Speed 700x40c Hybrid tires with double walled Alloy rims.
Other Features -2 bottle cage clamps, handlebar grips with palm padding, adjustable quill stem, front and rear quick release on the wheels.
Colours - The bicycle is available in only 2 colour variants – Dark Silver and Silk Titan.
This Alloy Hybrid Bicycle is lightweight and has a comfortable frame geometry
The bicycle is built on a strong and lightweight Alloy frame. The front suspension lockout helps to ride faster on flatter surfaces. The Shimano Hydraulic Disc brakes are powerful and the 700x40C tires were fast rolling. The Merida Crossway 100 (2019) is priced at Rs.52,490 (as on 19th July 2019) and is ideal for fitness, commuting and touring.
