Hercules is one of the oldest bicycle brands in India, under the T.I Cycles umbrella. Hercules caters to the children, teen and adult bicycle categories with various models and designs in each of these categories. We got the opportunity to check out the Hercules Brut + ZX 24 and here is what we thought.

A comfortable dual suspension urban MTB with a stylish design and graphics.
Frame - The Hercules Brut + ZX 24 is built around a strong Steel rigid 16” frame. The top tube was slanting with a cut shape that gave extra standover clearance for the rider. The geometry made sure the riding posture was comfortable. The ground clearance of the frame was higher and this helped in making sure the frame does not get hit when riding over bigger bumps and other obstacles on the road.
Fork --This bicycle has both a front and rear suspension. The front suspension fork comes with a minimal travel of 40-50mm and the rear suspension under the seat helps reduce vibrations on to the saddle.
Drivetrain --The single-speed drivetrain was easy to pedal and comes with a useful and safe chain guard.
Braking --The bicycle is equipped with standard V-brakes at the front and rear. With easy and smooth brake levers the stopping power was safe and balanced.
Tires --This Hercules Brut + ZX rolls on a pair of 24” tires. These tires are treaded well to handle rough and wet roads.
Other Features- -A Colour coded cushioned saddle, comfortable ride geometry, stylish chain guard for safety, front and rear steel mudguards and a pre-installed rear steel carrier.
Colours- -The bicycle is available in four matte finish colour options – Capri Orange, Fresh Green, Smart Red and Victor Blue.
The Brut+ ZX 24 can be ridden by kids and teenagers in the height range of 4’ 4” to 5’ 2”
This bicycle is a single-speed Urban MTB with a slanting and stylish top tube geometry. The dual suspension makes the ride comfortable on bumpy roads. The 24” well treaded tires were ideal for bad roads. The integrated rear carrier, chain guard, front and rear mudguards for exciting features. The Hercules Brut + ZX 24 is priced at Rs.6,830 (as on 4th June 2019).
