Hercules is a popular Indian bicycle brand which has been around for a long time. They have been manufacturing bicycles for kids, teenagers and adults with new and refreshing designs and graphics every year. We got the opportunity to test ride the Hercules Assasin 26 and here is what we thought.

Frame – The Hercules Assasin 26 is built on a rigid Y-shaped Steel frame. The frame is strong and also has a simple geometry which gives the rider a comfortable riding posture.
Fork - This bicycle has a Steel rigid fork which is sleek and can take in vibrations of the surface.
Drivetrain - The Assasin 26 comes with a Single-Speed drivetrain which is easy to pedal and to maintain.
Braking - The bicycle is equipped with standard V-brakes at the front and rear. These brakes were easy to use and also provided sufficient stopping power for safe braking on city roads.
Tires- The Hercules Assasin rolls on a pair of 26” rubber tires. These tires were well treaded and capable of rolling on rough surfaces as well.
Other Features - Cushioned PU saddle, integrated rear carrier, front and rear metal mudguards, bladed handlebar design.
Colours - The bicycle is available in only 3 colour options – Red, Yellow and Green.
This bicycle with 26” wheels are fast rolling with a good tread pattern. The Steel frame is strong, and it has a comfortable geometry for a straight back riding posture. The flashy design and shiny gloss paint job was aesthetic. The Hercules Assasin 26 is priced at Rs.5,275 (as on 19th November 2019).
