Frog is an Indian Bicycle brand which have a wide range of Hybrid, MTB and City Bicycles for Men, Women, Teens and Children. This fairly new entrant to the Indian Market believes in honesty, functionality and simplicity. Frog Bicycles recently launched a few new models, we got the opportunity to test ride their new City Bicycle; the Frog TopGun 26 and here is what we thought.

A no fuss Single-Speed Bicycle ideal for City Commutes.
The Frog TopGun 26 is a City Bicycle for Men which is built around a Hi-Ten TIG Welded Frame. The Bicycle has a Comfort based frame geometry which makes it easy to ride. The Hi-Ten TIG Welded Steel used in lightweight but at the same time absorbed the vibrations of the road.
The TopGun 26 has a Lightweight Rigid Fork made from Steel which has a aero profile. The bladed shape made the bicycle light at the front.

The Frog TopGun 26 is a stylish looking City Bicycle, the Bicycle which I test rode came with a Navy Blue Primary Colour and Neon Orange secondary colour. The finish was very good and gave an overall premium feel to the Bicycle. The Neon Orange Fork and Brake Cables made the Bicycle stand out. Frog have always ensured that their bicycles are stylish and look premium and they have definitely delivered on that front with the TopGun City Bicycle.

The Frog TopGun 26 Men is a straightforward Single-Speed Bicycle. This Bicycle is ideal for short commutes and leisure rides around town. A Single-Speed Bicycle is easy to maintain, the large Crank made it easier to pedal. Although, one would require to put in that extra effort when riding in elevated areas in the city like on flyovers.
A No Fuss Single-Speed Bicycle for City Commute
This City Bicycle from Frog comes with responsive and powerful V-Brakes at the Front and Back. Feathered braking felt comfortable and stable requiring just a light press of the Alloy Brake levers to activate. The braking mechanism was ideal for City use. The colour coded brake cables were a nice aesthetic touvh to the design of the bicycle.
The handlebar has a slight ride from the centre and is wide enough to give the rider an upright and open-chested riding posture which is ideal for Commuting. One downside which I felt was that the grips were a little hard and didn’t have enough cushioning.
Ideal Stopping Power for City Usage
The Frog TopGun 26 Men comes with a pair of 26” x 1.75” Nylon Tires which are connected to Alloy Rims. The Tires are well treaded and offer good grip in both wet and dry surfaces.
The TopGun has a Premium Padded Saddle which is ergonomic as well. The Saddle has the name of the Bicycle printed on it which improves the overall aesthetic appeal of this Bicycle. The Seat post has a QR which enables you to change the seat height quickly and easily.
