Since most of us try to cycle as much as we can, why not make it exciting? At least that’s what we at ChooseMyBicycle.com were thinking when they came up with the ‘Keep Cycling Challenge’, an all-new Monthly Competition, open to cyclists across 12 cities in India. The cities where the ChooseMyBicycle.com Keep Cycling Challenge will be held are - Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Gurgaon, Chandigarh and Kolkata.
When you combine Strava and cool accessories what do you get? You guessed it – a cyclist! Why this random line, you wonder? Well, Choosemybicycle.com, has something exciting planned for cyclists across 12 cities in India. Hint, there are goodies and freebies involved! It is time to make good on that fitness-related new year resolution that’s lingering at the back of your mind, there’s half a year left – let’s make it count. Read on to find out more!
What’s it all about?
This is how it works
We have created group's on Strava for each city. To participate, all you need to do is join the Strava group based on your city and ride. Participants must post a photo or video of at least 5 rides on social media, with the hashtags #ChooseMyBicycle and #KeepCyclingChallenge. To keep a tab on participants’ entries and data from each ride, a team from ChooseMyBicycle.com will be tracking and noting down data from all groups. At the end of the month, each city will have winners across three categories.
The Winners
At the end of the month we will declare three winners from each of the 12 city across these three categories:
- The Yellow Jersey: The maximum number of kilometres ridden.
- The Red Jersey: The Maximum elevation achieved.
- The Blue Jersey: The Longest Ride for the month.
With winning comes rewards. To a cyclist, what is more rewarding than buying accessories? So, here’s what the winners across all three categories, from each city, get:
- 1st Position - A Jersey with name of your choice, and a 20% discount on Select Accessories and Apparel.
- 2nd Position - A 15% discount on Select Accessories and Apparel.
- 3rd Position - A 10% discount on Select Accessories and Apparel
Conclusion
This competition is open to anybody who lives in the above-mentioned cities, provided they comply with the rules, log their rides on Strava, and post each of their rides on social media with the said hashtags.
