Citizens of Bengaluru can now beat the traffic on the healthiest, greenest, most awesome mode of transport even without owning a bicycle. Kerberon Automations Pvt Ltd in association with BMRCL has launched India's first Automated Bicycle Sharing Infrastructure in Bengaluru.åÊ
The cost of using the cycle is as low as Rs 10 åÊper hour. And the first hour everyday åÊis free. Once registered, the user can hire a cycle from one of the automated stations and drop it off at any other station in the city.
Let's hope this system catches on in more cities as well.åÊ

Update:åÊIn May, Kerberon Automations added 12 quality KHS bicycles to the the sharing station at Bangalore Club. This was to replace a set of old bicycles that have collectively completed over 48,000 Kms over the last one year thanks to members.
