Frame, Fit and Comfort
Performance focused strong yet lightweight trail specific Alloy frame
The United Clovis 3.10 27.5 comes with a hydroformed aluminium frame with internal cable routing. Both the top tube and bottom tube aren’t circular, they are flat which makes the tubes sleek and keep the weight in check.
During the test ride the Suntour XCM32 Boost front suspension fork with its massive 120mm travel was impressive both on harsh urban roads and rough trails. The Suspension lockout was a useful feature for efficient riding on smooth and flat surfaces.
Design
The United Clovis 3.10 27.5 comes in this 2 colour variants; Black/Red, Blue/Yellow
The United Clovis 3.10 27.5 which I test rode came with Black as the primary colour on the frame with Red as the secondary colour. The gloss finish paint job definitely enhanced the colour schemes to make it look shining. The internal cable routing made the bicycle look neat and the colour coordinated rims and fork made it look aesthetic.
Gearing
The Shimano Alivio 18-Speed gear setup was smooth in shifting
The gearing in the United Clovis 3.10 27.5 is handled by a Shimano Alivio 2-Speed at the front and Shimano Alivio 9-Speed at the rear. Having 9 gears at the rear ensures extended rage of speed which provides more power. The Shimano Altus 18-Speed rapid gear shifters were easy to use.
Brakes and Steering
The Shimano Hydraulic Disc brakes were balanced and safe to engage even at high speeds
The stopping power in the United Clovis 3.10 27.5 is taken care of by a pair of Shimano MT200 Hydraulic Disc brakes. These Disc brakes are powerful and balanced and felt safe to engage even at high speeds during the test ride.
The United alloy handlebar is lengthy with a 740mm width and a very slight rise from the middle. This is a perfect MTB handlebar which means a comfortable and open chested riding posture giving great control over the Bicycle during fast paced trail rides.
Wheels and Saddle
The Maxxis Ardent 27.5” x 2.10” tires were heavily treaded and fast rolling
The Maxxis Ardent MTB tires impressed us during the test ride. The 27.5” x 2.25” tires were heavily treaded with bulky buttons and covered the edges as well. These tires were fast rolling on flatter surfaces and could handle rough patches with ease. The stock trail specific saddle was wide with enough cushioning.

Performance focused components like the Shimano Hydraulic Disc brakes make this Bicycle ready for fast paced rides on rough trails. The 27.5” Maxxis tires were fast rolling and the impressive 120mm front suspension fork makes this Bicycle ride efficiently on rough and flat surfaces. Priced at Rs.46,000 (as on 22nd January 2022) the United Clovis 3.10 27.5 is an ideal choice for anyone looking to buy an MTB for fast paced rides on moderate/rough trail rides an occasional rides on rough urban roads.
