With the increasing popularity of cycling in the country, the market for bicycles has expanded. The Mach city iBike W Multi Speed (2016) is the perfect bike for women looking to get into the cycling community. Though termed a hybrid, the Mach city iBike W is not made of carbon, but is made of lightweight steel. Though the frame is made entirely of steel, it is quite light and easy to carry and it doesn't affect the ride comfort or speed. The frame is built with a downward sloping top tube, which makes it comfortable to mount and dismount. The geometry of the frame ensures a comfortable, upright position while cycling. The stock foam saddle on the bicycle is broad, ergonomically designed and comfortable for women cyclists.

This bicycle from Mach City's new range of bicycles is a combination of ergonomic design, performance and good looks designed specifically for women cyclists. This iBike for Women comes in three color variants- a striking teal blue, pink and black. It's design is appealing and most certainly turns heads, while on the road.

For a bicycle of this price range, the iBike Multi Speed W bicycle has a decent rear derailleur. It comes with a Shimano Tourney rear derailleur paired with Revo shifters, for easier shifting while riding. On the test rides, the shifting was very smooth while up-shifting and a little slow to catch while down-shifting. Nothing that hinders the ride quality though.

The Alloy-V brakes on the iBike W Multi Speed are quite powerful on flat and dry roads. It may not be as powerful on wet/greasy terrain if one needs to stop suddenly. The handlebar is curved, which ensures an upright riding position. The handlebar grips, especially on the side with the Revo shifter are a little too short which makes it rather difficult and uncomfortable to hold on to while riding.

The 26'' x 1.95'' Ralson tires that come with the Mach City iBike W are sturdy and could possibly be why this bicycle can be used on simple trails apart from the city. The front wheel is fitted with a quick release, which makes removing and putting the wheel back on much simpler. The thicker width of the tires makes the bicycle more stable and balanced on bumpy surfaces. The overall ride quality was pretty smooth and favorable.
