Firefox is an Indian performance bicycle brand with a wide range of bicycles and accessories; the majority of their bicycles and accessories are urban specific and are built for comfort. We got an opportunity to review the Inmould Head Protector Helmet from Firefox and here’s what we think.
The Firefox Inmould Helmet is bright and is for sporty urban riders who would like to look fashionable, yet have a functional Helmet which can be spotted easily in city traffic and highways. The two colors available are Neon Orange, which was the one that we got to review, and a Neon Green. Both of them have a neat, matte finish that gives the helmet a sophisticated and posh look.
The Inmould Helmet is an Adult sized helmet that comes with a CE approved design, which is quite a good standard for a helmet at this price. Its 19-vent design ensures that the rider’s head is kept well ventilated while giving enough protection. This proves to be very helpful in our country's tropical hot climate. The helmet is available in two different sizes, namely M and L for smaller or bigger head sizes.
The helmet comes with a removable visor that can be attached in the front, to give a rugged MTB feel. We however felt that the helmet looked more aesthetic without the visor. The tangy, bright Neon Orange colour makes it stand out in a crowd, and also easily spotted in city traffic, which we felt is a necessity for the everyday commuter.
Overall Rating
Fashionable and Functional, the Inmould Helmet does a great job of being protective gear and also a chic accessory. Priced at Rs.1,900 (As of 5th March 2019) and suitable for the recreational rider as well as the more regular cyclists, this helmet is surely an eye-catching, cost-worthy product.
