The rigid steel frame is perfect for short commutes through the city but tends to become a little heavy on slightly longer rides. Since the frame is forged from steel, it is slightly on the heavier side which makes it harder to let you take sudden corners or cut easily. You will definitely feel the weight every time you try to pick up speed once you halt at a traffic jam. The positive side to all this is that its a great workout for your legs and quads. This bicycle is definitely not built with speed and precision in mind. It's more towards the daily commuters who want a comfortable riding experience. In Terms of fit, keep in mind that most budget bicycles in this range come in a standard size (medium), so if you are considerably taller or larger built, this bicycle is not for you, therefore i strongly suggest you take a test ride before making your buying decision.

Additional information - this bicycle would be perfect for someone who is between the height of 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 10 inches.

The Cosmic Jus Bike 21-Speed comes in two colors, black and white. I was given the white one to test ride. At first looks it gives you a pretty bold stance with all the bells and whistles attached. This bicycle comes packed with additional accessories. To give you a list, the Cosmic Jus bike 21-Speed comes with front & rear mudguards, a Bottle cage, Sipper Bottle, kickstand, Clip bell and Electric horn. All put together along with the stark white bicycle with minimal graphics gives the Cosmic Jus Bike 21-Speed a butch and macho look. With minimal graphics the bicycle looks simple yet stylish.

The Cosmic Jus Bike comes with 21-Speed Revo shifters from Shimano. While the Bicycle proudly showcases a shimano decal on the seat tube, the shimano revo shifters are slightly outdated as more competitors move towards trigger shifters. This is mainly because the revo shifters are difficult to repair and aren't very durable. But, they are on the bicycle for a very reason, these shifters are extremely smooth to operate and are competitively priced to be employed onto an entry level bicycle. While riding i shifted multiple gears with ease, The only issue was that i experienced a slight issue with a few shifts that took a bit of time for the chain to get finally locked onto the crank. Another deterrent was that the front derailleur took a few turns to get engaged, this takes some time getting used to, but once you ride for a bit you'll get the hang of it very easily and you'll fly through traffic like a breeze.

The powerful V- Brakes are super responsive even with minimal pressure to the brake levers. These are more than sufficient in today's traffic conditions. Steering was definitely an issue for me, the Revo shifters eat up a lot of the handlebar and because of that my hands didn't have sufficient grip which posed a problem as i had quite an issue steering. Bigger hands will definitely have problems with grip and steering. These two issues could definitely be deterrents in longer rides.

Solid 26 inch Wanda tires are definitely one step ahead in this segment of bicycles. These tires are normally found on entry level MTB bicycles. They have great traction on moderately wet conditions and ensure superior grip while braking and taking sharp turns. They can also handle moderate amounts of gravel and mud with ease. One downfall of these tires are that because they are of an MTB type, they add to the overall weight of the bicycle.This additional weight of the tires add on to the already heavy steel frame making the jus bike a slightly heavy bicycle.

The saddle is well placed and comfortable with enough length and width for optimum comfort. The Seat and riding position are very comfortable. During the ride I was well positioned and was comfortable for the first half an hour. Post that, the short handle bars, the slightly tough revo shifters, heavy frame and tires takes its toll. This bicycle would be perfect for quick city commutes but i wouldst recommend the same for longer rides or endurance rides. Overall the bicycle is super comfortable for quick city commuting or for your daily workout.
