Coppernicus is an Indian electric bicycle manufacturer headquartered in Bangalore. We got the opportunity to check out their Performance focused Electric MTB with top notch components and here is what we thought.

Frame - The Coppernicus T3 (2020) is built on a 6061 Aluminium Alloy frame. This frame is upright in geometry with a tapered top tube and a wide bottom tube to accommodate the battery pack.
Fork - The T3 comes with a Suntour XCM front suspension fork with a 100mm travel and a Hydraulic lockout.
Drivetrain - The Coppernicus T3 is equipped with a Shimano Zee 10-Speed rear derailleur. This a 1x10-Speed drivetrain with no front derailleur.
Braking - The bicycle is equipped with a powerful set of Zoom Hydraulic Disc brakes at both the front and rear with 160mm rotors.
Tires - The T3 (2020) rolls on a pair of Hutchinson Rock 26” x 1.95” MTB tires.
Battery and Hub - The Coppernicus T3 comes with a 36V 14AH Battery pack which powers the Bafang rear hub motor and is expected to give a range of 100km per charge on pedal assist mode.
Other Features - Auto-cut off feature in the brake, strong side stand, pedal assist.
Colour - The bicycle is available in only 1 colour variant – Matte Black with Grey, Blue and White as the secondary colour for graphics and text.
This bicycle is built on a strong 6061 Alloy frame and has a removable Lithium-ion 14Ah battery. The lever accelerator is useful and fun to use, especially for climbs. The Shimano Zee 10-Speed derailleur is a high level Shimano component. Zoom’s Hydraulic Disc brakes provide quick and powerful stopping power. The Coppernicus T3 (2020) is priced at Rs.1,19,2990 (as on 28th October 2019).
