Things We Like

  • Lightweight and Aerodynamic full Alloy frame with a carbon fork
  • Smooth and precise gear shifting with a full Shimano 105 drivetrain
  • Aesthetic design and graphics

Things We Don't Like

  • The tires will definitely need an upgrade for wet road conditions
Camp Impala Frame

The Camp Impala is built on a lightweight full Alloy frame. The geometry is aggressive and this is needed for fast and compact rides. This frame has a tapered head tube, smoothly welded frame and an integrated seat post clamp. The aero dynamic tube profiles make sure the trailing edges to aid in the smooth reintegration of air.

The Aero flattened Carbon fork was bladed and helped with keeping the front of the Bicycle lightweight.

Camp Impala Design

Camps Bicycles are all designed aesthetically with sharp and unique graphics. The Bicycle we test rode came in a Grey matte finish frame with Red and as the secondary colour for graphics and text. The flat aero tube profiles along with the bladed carbon fork and an integrated seat tube clamp immensely enhanced the overall aesthetics of this Bicycle.

Camp Impala Design This Bicycle comes in 2 colour variants; Grey/Red and Grey/Orange
Camp Impala Gearing

The Camp Impala is equipped with a complete Shimano 105 road drivetrain. 105 sits beneath Dura-Ace, Ultegra and Di2 in the Shimano Road Hierarchy. During the test ride both at the front and rear, the gears shift cleanly, smoothly and quietly. We never missed a gear or felt the shifter being unresponsive when we needed to change gears quickly. The 2x11-Speed integrated Shimano 105 shifters were easy to use with feather light pushes to change the gears.

Camp Impala Gearing The Shimano 105 2x11-Speed derailleurs worked well and had enough depth for quick acceleration and climbs
Camp Impala Brakes and Steering

The Tektro Road Caliper brakes handle the braking power on the Impala. These brakes were lightweight components and powerful on flat tarmacs and balanced on even wet roads.

The stock Alloy drop handlebar was of the perfect length for optimum control over the Bicycle on steep turns and also gives a compact riding posture.

Camp Impala Brakes and Steering Tektro’s Road Caliper brakes with Shimano 105 brake levers made the braking experience safe and responsive
Camp Impala Wheels and Saddle

The Maxxis 700x25C slick tires on the Impala are race specific tires built to be lightweight and reliable. These tires make sure it gives maximum traction on dry and wet tarmacs. They are well supported by lightweight Alloy rims.

The stock Camp Saddle was not only stylish, but has a level of support and cushioning that suits the rider on faster rides just as much as long distance rides. The integrated seat post clamp was shaped aerodynamically.

Camp Impala Wheels and Saddle The 700x25C Maxxis road tires are long lasting and give good traction on tarmacs

This Aero Road Bicycle comes with a complete Shimano 105 drivetrain and Disc brakes. The lightweight Alloy frame with the Carbon fork kept the overall weight less than 10 kgs. The design and graphics were aesthetic and the matte finish was smooth and of top notch quality. Priced at Rs.1,09,990(as on 23rd November 2022) the Camp Impala is an ideal choice for anyone looking to buy a Race Road Bicycle with aerodynamic profiling.
