A performance focused all-rounder MTB with a superior frame and comfortable riding experience
The WaltX Summit 27.5 is built on a strong and lightweight Hardtail Alloy frame. MTB’s are supposed to be strong and often presumed to be heavy but this Alloy frame keeps the weight in check. The frame geometry with its slanting top tube was ideal with a combination of comfort and aggressiveness which is suitable for trails and rough city roads. The longer rear triangle and contoured seat tube on this frame is engineered to provide better agility and performance for the rider.
The WaltX branded suspension fork on the Summit 27.5 came with a 80mm travel and also had a useful and smoothly working suspension lockout which helps in speed and acceleration on flatter surfaces.

The Summit 27.5 which I test rode came in a full Blue primary colour with a lighter shade of Blue as the secondary colour for the text and graphics. The blue pattern on the top tube was unique and definitely made the frame look stylish. The colour coded suspension fork and saddle enhanced the overall aesthetics of the Bicycle.

The Summit 27.5 comes equipped with Shimano Tourney TZ30 3-Speed at the front and Shimano Tourney TZ50 7-Speed at the rear as derailleurs. These Tourney derailleurs are sleek and shift smoothly. The Shimano trigger shifters were easy to operate with a neat design and clear gear indicator displays.

The Mechanical Disc brakes at the front and rear were ideal for precise and safe braking performance on both trails and urban roads. During the test ride, when braking on fast turns and in traffic, it felt balanced and had a quick response time.
The 680mm Alloy handlebar was wide and gave an open chested riding posture while still being comfortable.

The WaltX Summit 27.5 rolls on a pair of DSI 27.5” x 2.1” MTB tires along with Double Walled Alloy rims. The treading was bulky and evenly spaced out, giving superior traction on smooth and rough urban roads. The 27.5” wheel size ensured easy rolling over rough patches.
The stock WaltX saddle was sporty in design with the perfect length and width to keep the rider comfortable and stable.

This MTB is built on a strong yet lightweight Alloy frame which is comfortable to ride. The contoured seat tube and longer rear triangle provide increased agility and performance for rider.
