The Bicycle weighs only 14.75kgs which makes it easier to accelerate and to ride on inclines. This frame was capable of taking in vibrations of the surface on rough trails and urban roads.
The Lock-out is easy to engage and definitely helps in letting you go faster on flatter surfaces.
The 24-Speed gear system was crisp in shifting with no evident lag. The Shimano Altus shifters were easy to use and placed comfortably on the handlebar.
The brakes were powerful and responsive and best suited for Trail Riding.

Veloce was founded in 2014 with the aim to provide affordable premium bikes for cycling enthusiasts, while maintaining all European ISO standards. Veloce have a wide range of MTB, Hybrid Bicycles with quality specs at a reasonable price point. From their MTB range we got to test ride the Veloce V300 and here is what we thought.

The Veloce V300 is a Lightweight and Versatile Hardtail MTB which is ideally suited for Trail Riding.
The Veloce V300 is a Hardtail MTB which has a lightweight Alloy Frame with a comfort frame geometry. The Bicycle weighs only 14.75kgs which makes it easier to accelerate and to ride on inclines. This frame was capable of taking in vibrations of the surface on rough trails and urban roads.
The Suntour XCM Suspension Fork comes with an impressive 120mm travel and a lock-out feature which is not there on the Veloce V100 and V200. The Lock-out is easy to engage and definitely helps in letting you go faster on flatter surfaces.
The Veloce V300 comes in 3 Frame Sizes: 16 inch, 18 inch and 20 inch
The Veloce V300 comes in a very interesting colour scheme, the primary colour is Red with a darker Red as the secondary colour for graphics. The use of negative space for the brand name on the bottom tube and the model name on the top tube is a very nice touch. The Gloss Finish, gives this Mountain Bike a very sporty and aggressive look and feel.

The V300 comes with a Shimano Tourney 3-Speed front derailleur and a Shimano Acera 8-Speed rear derailleur which are connected to Shimano Altus shifters, this is similar to the Veloce V200. The 24-Speed gear system was crisp in shifting with no evident lag. The Shimano Altus shifters were easy to use and placed comfortably on the handlebar.

This MTB from Veloce comes with Shimano MT200 Hydraulic Disc Brakes which are a great value add for a Bicycle at this price point. The brakes were powerful and responsive and best suited for Trail Riding.
The Handlebar is 700mm in width with a slight raise in the centre. The width ensures optimal control when out on the trail but can be a little difficult to use when riding in urban conditions.
The Shimano MT200 Hydraulic Disc Brakes are ideal for Trail riding
The Veloce V300 rolls on a pair of 27.5” x 2.10” tires which are attached to strong double wall alloy rims. The tires were heavily treaded to generate a lot of traction on rough surfaces. The 27.5” circumference made it easy to ride fast over rough trails and potholes on urban roads.
The stock saddle was ergonomic in design and provided ample cushioning for trail riding, however we would have liked this saddle even more if it was a little wider.

This Hardtail MTB from Veloce is built on a strong yet lightweight Alloy Frame which gives the rider a comfortable open-chested posture. The Suntour XCM front suspension fork with a lock-out feature, the Shimano MT200 Hydraulic Disc brakes and the Shimano Tourney/Acera 24-Speed Gear System make this Bicycle perfect for off-road riding. Priced at Rs.35,990(as on 14th December 2021), the Veloce V300 is an ideal choice for anyone looking for a Value for Money Mountain Bike for Trail Riding.
